Online simulations

There are some really good simulations for science teaching. Good for pre or post lesson activities. Also save time. Need to schedule computer lab time once a week for students in physics class to try some of these. Mobile lab is also an option. It only took me 10 minutes to find three simulations that were useful!

  1. I agree and had no idea there was so much available online for free - which is always a considerations. And, your right - it doesn't take alot of time to find interesting sims.

The simulations are of particular interest to me for my students with reading disabilities. This is going to be such a great year with new tools in hand!

  2. I am particularly interested in the simulations, since I'm thinking (very seriously) about buying and using netbooks, instead of textbooks, for my IB Physics class. They're just more powerful, and can be quite affordable these days
