Week 4: Personal Learning Network
After reading a few "Tweets" about glogster, I got curious. So I googled "glogster" and now I have an idea what that is all about. This is a sample of what things I have picked up through personal learning networks. Maybe a better idea for the classroom than "blogs?" What do you think?

ReplyDeleteClick on the "Watch Glogster EDU presentation" link at the bottom & it shows some excellent teacher & student glogs as well as ideas, etc.
I really don't think glogs could replace blogs. To me, student blogs are opportunities for them to get their ideas out & comment on what is going on in class, during a lab, etc.- a running dialogue. A glog is more like a finished project- a culmination of all that students have learned during a particular unit. Glogs are more visual whereas blogs focus more on journaling. That's just what I gather about it...
